Effective October 23, 2026. Araw with Joann — this website, Joann’s newsletter and the Araw app — is a brand of Pie R Square LLC (Florida, USA), the company responsible for the information described here. We run no ads and no tracking, anywhere.
The newsletter
If you sign up, we store your email address and the topics you chose (weekly lessons, product news, surveys). We use them only to send you the updates you asked for.
We confirm every signup first: nothing is sent until you click the link in a confirmation email, so no one is added without meaning to.
You can change your topics or unsubscribe at any time — a link sits at the bottom of every email, and replying “remove” to any newsletter works too. We act on it right away and send you a short confirmation with a link to come back if you change your mind. We keep your address only while you are subscribed; when you leave, it is removed.
Our email service, Resend, stores the list and delivers the emails for us. A reply to the newsletter is read first by an automated assistant that handles unsubscribe requests; anything else is passed to a person on our team.
These websites
arawwithjoann.com and arawapp.com set no cookies of their own. A signup or help form loads one thing from another company: Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from automated programs, described in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum. When you arrive from one of Joann’s channels the link may carry the channel’s name so we can count visits by channel — a number per channel per day, with nothing about you in it. Nothing else on these sites comes from other companies.
The Araw app
The app stores its own data (learners, progress, a family’s sign-in email) under its own policy. See the Araw app privacy policy for exactly what it keeps and how to delete it.
Children
Our books, lessons and app are made for families, and some learners are children. Only an adult signs up for the newsletter or creates a family in the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through this site or the newsletter.
Your choices
- The newsletter: adjust your topics or unsubscribe from any email, or by replying to one.
- The app: see and export your data with a journey code, and delete everything from inside the app — see the app policy.
- Ask us anything about your information at the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new date appears at the top of this page.
